If I correctly understood, on a photo the plate is welded on the plug. It isn't absolutely correct. Loadings in that place the big. You watch that the detail didn't burst on a seam.

Hello Vitaliy,

do you believe that the seam itself is not strong enough? It was welled by a professional. Do you have any idea, how I could test the seam?

Force vector at the movement on waves can change. In this case your detail will work not correctly. Can start breaking off it. But, perhaps, durabilities of a seam will be enough and the detail remains whole. You needed to do a detail similar on original, but with the increased shelf for fastening of screws.
