Air Pressure

Air Pressure

As i know the Grabner inflatables from Austria stand much higher pressure than the adviced 0,3 bar. Even up to 1 bar before they start to burst. -

Ducky advices an air pressure of just 0,15 bar for the floats.

How much do they really stand? Certainly there are made various tests.

What exactly will happen when you increase the pressure to 0,3 - 0,4 or higher?

Would the former, non v-shaped floats stand a higher pressure?

I think the real working pressure in the floats - 0.2 - 0.25 bar. For standard hulls increase in pressure up to 0.3 bar is not critical. For V - shaped it can be dangerous. Internal membranes that form the bow, can come off. I compete real pressure in the floats and let you know the exact figure.
