Ducky

On June 8-10, on the Dnepr River, there passed the first regatta – the Cup of Catamarans 2012. Competitions were held among Ducky and TOPCAT catamarans.
The first participants appeared in camp on Friday – on June 8. Preparatory efforts - assembly and control of catamarans, test arrivals began. Rivals gathered strong and fight promised to be interesting.

In the morning, on June 9, there arrived the last participants and at 12.00 official opening of competitions took place. All participants divided into three groups. At a light breeze it was succeeded to carry out 5 races. Fight in groups, as expected, was sharp and by results of the carried-out races, after the first day of competitions the intrigue remained.

After official part of competitions time informal, but not less long-awaited came. The mood wasn't spoiled even by sudden heavy rain. It was pleasant to observe a warm summer rain, standing under an awning. Tasty fish soup and pilaf was prepared for the planned general festive table, for what there is a wish to express separate gratitude to cooks. Evening passed behind communication in a warm friendly situation.
