Re: Electric air pump 12V (2 minutes instad of 12 min by foo
The pressure is not enough. In the end, still need to add pressure by the foot pump, but with the filling of the main volume, this pump does well. Aha, ok. The "Jobe Turbo Air Pump 12V" does have pressure enough so no need to use foot pump. But of course, the intex is portable which could be convin...

Re: Speed record?
Today I broke my record with 7.6 knots with 8 m/s wind and only myself as load (75kg) With more wind and maybe close-hauled (making the front of potons kept out of water) I think I can beat this record But now it seems I have to wait another week until the wind gets >8m/s.

Tacking angle and VMG (Velocity made good)
By using GPS trace, I have been able to calculate tacking angle. Best I have achieved so far with my D13 is 58 degrees. But question is, what is the optimum tacking angle in relation to VMG?
Does it exist any polar plots for the D13?
If not, does anyone know how to make one?

Re: Silicone grease to make assembly faster and easier
You are on the right track. We also use silicone grease for rubbing parts. The main thing to choose a lubricant that does not dry out, but it remains greasy after a while. Also, after disassembling the catamaran, wipe off this lubricant so that it does not stain other parts and so that sand does no...

Re: Electric air pump 12V (2 minutes instad of 12 min by foo
An excellent pump and, in general, the right solution to use an electric pump. I use this: https://intex-bestway.com.ua/pumps/66622 (price about 22 euros) It is not very productive, but it has a built-in battery and it can be used autonomously, without wires. Very comfortably. Wow, good price and c...

Maximum wind?
I have been out in 9-15 m/s with the Ducky 13 and the mast is getting pretty bent at these wind speeds. Do you know of any maximum wind speed that the boat can survive? Is there any maximum recommended wind speed?

Silicone grease to make assembly faster and easier
After have mounted the Ducky 13 a lot of times, I started to think of what I could do to increase mounting speed. One thing is to exchange the foot pump to an electric one (saved about 10 painful minutes). But then I also found out that by applying silicone grease to all friction parts, it got a lot...
